Business Bankruptcy, Bankruptcy Litigation, Creditors’ Rights and Insolvency
Mr. Guon has focused his practice on the representation of debtors, trustees, creditors’ committees and creditors in all aspects of the insolvency practice including chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court workouts, sales of financially distressed companies and 363 asset sales. Mr. Guon also represents parties in interest in bankruptcy-related litigation and adversary proceedings.
Among his more recent accomplishments, Mr. Guon
successfully confirmed a chapter 11 plan of reorganization for
Mid-City Parking, Inc., an automobile parking company located in
Chicago. Mr. Guon has also had primary responsibilities in the
successful chapter 11 going-concern sales of Bachrach Clothing,
Inc., a national clothing retailer and Appliance Controls Group,
Inc., a national manufacturer of combustion related components
for the gas cooking appliance industry. Mr. Guon has also represented
chapter 7 trustees in several cases throughout the country including
Nanovation Technologies, Inc. (Illinois), McCook Metals, LLC (Illinois),
Jore Corporation (Montana) and Mego Financial Corp. (Nevada).
