Jarret Raab has significant experience litigating a broad range of commercial disputes and business torts
in state and federal court in a wide range of practice areas, including construction, real estate, insurance
coverage, employment and bankruptcy. He has also litigated high profile product liability cases, as well
as lawsuits involving civil rights violations and catasrophic personal injuries.
Jarret has conducted trials, mediations, arbitrations, as well as numerous appeals. He has represented a
wide variety of clients, including large publicly traded retailers, chemical distributors, real estate
developers, general contractors, subcontractors, engineering services companies, and domestic and
foreign insurance carriers.
Prior to joining Shaw Gussis, Jarret was a commercial litigator at a prestigious litigation firm in Atlanta,
Georgia. He has also worked as a risk management consultant at a nationally recognized firm in Boston,
Massachusetts. During law school, Jarret was a law clerk for the Hon. James H. Weeks of the Superior
Court of DeKalb County and also served as a judicial clerk for the Supreme Court of Georgia.
