Ms. Bacher has experience representing financial institutions in business reorganizations and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Bacher has conducted private and public U.C.C. sales, drafted cash collateral orders for debtor-in-possession financing, and has represented secured creditors throughout the liquidation process.
Ms. Bacher graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2005, where she served as the Business Law Brief Senior Editor.
After graduation from law school, Ms. Bacher served as law clerk to the Honorable Jack B. Schmetterer, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. As law clerk, Ms. Bacher had extensive exposure to complex bankruptcy issues and assisted in the preparation of opinions for a variety of chapter 7 and 11 business bankruptcies.
