Richard Saldinger has more than thirteen years
of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all
aspects of state and federal commercial litigation including contract
claims, fraud claims, consumer class actions, gaming disputes,
construction and real estate disputes, bankruptcy litigation and
employment litigation. Mr. Saldinger has bench and jury trial experience
in both state and federal courts, including lead responsibilities
in all facets of commercial litigation. Mr. Saldinger prides himself
on ensuring that his litigation strategy is both economically efficient
and consistent with his client’s business needs and litigation
goals.
Among his more significant recent engagements,
Mr. Saldinger obtained a jury verdict in favor of his client who
was the lone defendant in a $1.5 million breach of contract lawsuit,
and obtained an $11 million judgement in favor of a Committee of Unsecured Creditors of a leading manufacturer of dry van trailers. He has also successfully represented the Royal Bank of Canada and the Illinois
Gaming Board in various commercial and administrative disputes.
Mr. Saldinger recently represented, and currently represents, a
number of Bankruptcy Trustees and Official Committees of Unsecured
Creditors in significant adversarial proceedings including fraudulent
conveyances, breach of contract claims and lender liability claims.
