Commercial Bankruptcy and Restructuring - This practice has grown to be among the most extensive and sophisticated in the U.S. We assist clients in finding the most efficient and cost-effective ways to deal with their financial situations, avoiding formal bankruptcy cases when possible. Our substantially experienced attorneys represent debtors, creditors, and other interested parties in national as well as regional cases, from a wide variety of industries, in bankruptcy and reorganization cases, receiverships, out-of-court workouts and all forms of insolvency-related litigation. This gives us a deep understanding of the expectations of all constituents involved, allowing us to develop creative solutions and reach favorable results for our clients.

Commercial Litigation – Our practice focuses on developing strategies to assist clients in the avoidance of unnecessary litigation. When litigation is unavoidable, our experienced team aggressively represents a wide variety of clients in all types of commercial disputes, including contract claims, fraud claims, labor and employment disputes, products and premises liability claims, and construction and real estate disputes. Consistent with our creative and cost-effective process, we help them resolve their issues in both state and federal courts nationwide or, when appropriate, through arbitration and mediation proceedings. In addition, the group works with the insolvency practice handling numerous adversary proceedings including fraudulent conveyance and preference cases.

Commercial Real Estate – This practice area is diverse and extensive, providing representation in all aspects of real estate transactions, for a broad array of clients. Our substantial experience includes the acquisition, financing, leasing, planned developments, land use and zoning, and out-of-court workouts for clients ranging from shopping centers and industrial properties, to mixed-use developments and apartment buildings. Renowned for our land use and zoning experience, our attorneys have handled entitlement and land use issues for a variety of businesses including a national pharmaceutical chain.

Additionally, our practice includes working with borrowers and lenders to solve financial shortfall issues both inside and outside of the courtroom.
