Experienced in all aspects of the bankruptcy practice, Brian regularly represents both debtors and creditors in a variety of reorganization and liquidation proceedings as well as in attendant litigation and has performed services for Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 7 and 11 trustees, creditors’ and noteholders’ committees, assignees, landlords, liquidating trustees, labor organizations, preference and fraudulent conveyance defendants, receivers and secured and unsecured creditors. He currently sits on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute and some of his recent experience includes:

  • Represented M3CVP LLC in the purchase of Clubhouse Restaurants out of bankruptcy and the purchase of Nick’s Fishmarket Restaurants

  • Represented a former CFO and CEO of marchFirst in its bankruptcy case

  • Represented debtors Perpetua-Burr Oak Holdings of Illinois, LLC and Republic Windows & Doors, LLC in their respective bankruptcy cases

  • Represented Chicago Title Insurance Company in the United Homes bankruptcy

  • Represented the former CEO of MIG, Inc. (Metromedia International Group)

  • Represented Casa de Cambia Majapara and its Mexican trustee in its Chapter 11 and 15 proceedings
