Marylynne Schwartz concentrates her practice in the areas of business bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, creditors’ rights and insolvency, and commercial litigation.

She represents debtors, creditors, committees, trustees and lenders in chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy proceedings for a variety of clients in many industries.

While in law school, Marylynne worked for the Institute for Justice clinic helping small businesses with their legal needs. While at Princeton, Marylynne majored in economics and received a certificate in finance.

Marylynne is a member of the Chicago and Illinois State Bar Associations.
