Recognized by his peers for leadership in his profession, Steven Towbin was named a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. For more than three decades, Steven has represented all parties in connection with complex bankruptcy and reorganization cases, and related litigation. His clients include government and a wide range of industries from construction and contracting to publishing and telecommunications. His recent experience includes:

  • Representation of the Official Creditors’ Committee of Outboard Marine Corporation involving more than $1.5 billion of debt and currently represents the chapter 7 trustee of the estate

  • Served as debtor’s counsel to Allied Products Corporation in its chapter 11 proceeding involving more than $100 million

  • Debtor and debtor-in-possession representation of Florsheim Group, Inc. in its chapter 11 reorganization proceeding
